Pencil Introduction
The pencil-shaped lure has a relatively long and thin body with a small head and no water pressure plate. It is also a surface lure that sways left and right on the water surface or nods when dragged. However, unlike the wave lure, the pencil lure does not create splashes on the water surface but moves around on it, creating ripples. It's great for catching topwater fish like mandarin fish or surface bass, and it works well near obstacles.
Fishing Guide:
Pencil fishing requires a certain level of skill; if you don't understand its techniques, it's difficult to catch fish with a pencil. After casting the lure, reel it back steadily by pulling the rod tip rhythmically without stopping. Whether slow or fast, keep the speed constant. The length of the rod pull depends on what action you want it to perform; longer pulls mean longer movements. If you want it to move quickly and continuously in short distances left and right, pull down on the rod tip and pull quickly. On the contrary, longer pulls with slower retrieval speed will result in larger and slower movements.
